It is a great honour to welcome all delegates and speakers – from South Africa, our continent Africa and across the globe - to this
prestigious scientific event – the “2nd Pathology Research and Development Congress – PathReD 2017”, to be held from 22 – 24 June
2017 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The theme of the PathRed 2017 Congress is “Driving Innovation and Laboratory Excellence”.
The programme will incorporate Key Note Presentations, Satellite Sessions, Oral and Poster Presentations, and Exhibitions.
This year, the Congress is being fully organized in collaboration with the Federation of South African Societies of Pathology (FSASP). This partnership enhances all efforts to build a sustainable pathology and health sciences research programme, which promotes clinical and diagnostic pathology excellence for the pathology platform at large.
Who Should Attend
The PathReD Congress brings together experts across the full spectrum of diagnostic pathology and public health sciences, including pathologists, technologists, technicians, medical scientists, public health specialists, clinicians and public health managers, who have an interest in laboratory medicine.
PathReD is designed to actively develop, strengthen and support young and emerging researchers by incorporating programmes that will promote collaboration, learning and skills development. Our interactive workshops are presented by prestigious scholars and experts. Previous workshops proved to be a great success and included topics such as Research Ethics, Scientific Writing and Basic Data Management and Basic Statistics.
